Building Information Modeling (BIM) software is used by DCI Architects to design and integrate projects. BIM 3D modeling is a better way to deliver projects by providing better drawings than traditional 2D CAD software. The use of BIM modeling provides a better product with less mistakes. Less mistakes = no additional cost to the client.
Even if larger (medium to large companies) use this software, typically it is not the principal. Not only does DCI use this software, but DCI’s principal uses this software while working directly with the client.
The goal of DCI is to insure that every stakeholder on the project has a voice. DCI seeks to accomplish this mission by ensuring that all stakeholders (the community, client, staff, sub consultants, contractors, end-users) are engaged in the early stages of a project to maintain a collaborative and unified process. This allows for early and informed decision-making while streamlining the design and construction process, which eliminates a great deal of waste and increases productivity– ultimately resulting in a better product.
